All kids and parents are invited to participate, and everybody is invited to watch. Parade will be held on Saturday, February 13th at 11:00 am. Staging area will be Lambuth University’s parking lot behind the Athletic Center and will be open at 10:00am. The parade route will travel east on W. King to Sunset, travel down Sunset to Burkett and then take W. King back to the staging area. The parade is a walking parade with no motorized vehicles. Decorate bicycles, wagons, strollers and yourself to show off in the parade. If you decide to build a float, it will have to be pushed or pulled by participants. “Throws” (candy, beads, or gifts) are allowed, but not necessary. Throw beads will be available for purchase (while supplies last) at the staging area. Here is a chance for the kids in Jackson to have their own parade! Come out and have fun.
