If you know spray foam and you care about your work, you might be a good fit.
311 Spray Foam & construction is hiring an experienced installer who can produce consistent spray foam work, recognize quality problems as they develop, and take responsibility for coreecting them. We're a small company where you'll work directly with the owners - not disappear into a large organization.
This opening is aimed at someone ready to contribute at the Installer/Sprayer level. We also install cellulose and batt insulation, so the work offers variety beyond spray foam.
What you'll do
What we're looking for
We want to hear what you have personally done on the job, not just how long you've worked in the industry. A strong candidate can describe projects they sprayed, the equipment and foam systems they used, how they checked quality, and what they did when conditions or results changed.
You should be able to work productively without constant supervision while remaining open to feedback and learning the company's procedures. Pride in workmanship, sound judgment, safe practices, and respect for the rest of the crew matter here.
Schedule and travel
Our standard work week is Monday through Friday. Summer months begin between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. Winter months may begin between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Saturday work is occasionally available. Jobs are generally withing about 150 miles of Martin, Tennessee; occasional out-of-town projects may require overnight travel. The work is physical and may involve lifting 50 pounds or more, heights, hot areas, or tight spaces, depending on the project. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
Room to grow
311 has a development path from Helper to Junior Installer to Installer/Sprayer to Lead Installer to Foreman/Supervisor. If you want to take on more responsibility, you'll have the opportunity to demonstrate the skills and judgment required for the next level. Crew leadership is earned through performance; spray experience alone does not guaratee it.
TO APPLY : Submit your application and briefly describe a spray foam project you personally installed. What SPF product did you use, what equpment did you use, how did you check the quality of your work, and what did you do when something needed adustment?
