I have been with Goodwill for more than 11 years. I started out working on the sales floor in Lexington. I transferred to the Career Solutions close to 3 years ago. I did not understand what Career Solutions does for the clients they serve until I came to the Non-Profit side of the business. We assist in many ways. From assisting with job applications, for Goodwill or anyone. We assist with employment, community services they may need, and educational training. We do in-person classes as well as virtual classes. We have classes that we offer in which you may receive a certification such as HiSet, Forklift, IT, and more. But the best part about the assistance we provide are FREE! The money that supports us comes from the stores, rounding up your purchases, and grants.
