DESCRIPTION:This public meeting is being conducted to satisfy the requirements of the State of Tennessee 2020 Recreational Educational Services Grant Cycle. The Middle Fork Bottoms Recreational Area is a ~850 acre floodplain restoration project along the Middle Fork Forked Deer River in Madison County\, TN.\n\n \n\nThis project will be developed to incorporate bike and hiking trails\, boardwalks\, waterfowl and wildlife viewing areas\, educational kiosks\, easy access fishing piers\, canoe access and restroom facilities. Additionally\, it will create more floodplain for flood waters and reduce flooding for other target areas.
